Essential Responsibilities:
-Identifies, tracks, and enters all data on all patients meeting state trauma registry criteria
-Participates in quality assurance, data validation, and improvement activities to ensure accuracy of data collection and timely submission
-Participates with research (data abstraction, analysis, reporting) as requested
-Accurately assigns AIS codes and Injury Severity Scores into the Trauma Registry
Experience:
-Minimum 2 years trauma registry experience preferred
-Two years experience in computer spreadsheet and software applications preferred
-American Trauma Society Registrar Certification preferred
Must reside in Washington, Oregon or Idaho
FTE: 1.0, Shift: Days, Schedule: Monday - Friday,
Position Summary
The Trauma Registrar plays a key role in providing high-standard quality patient care. This is an incredible opportunity to utilize your training and knowledge to manage all components of the Trauma Registry and trauma informatics.
As Trauma Registrar at MultiCare, you will be engaged in a dynamic range of work functions from clinical case reviews, data retrieval and collection and statistical analysis.
Responsibilities
You will interpret the clinical care provided to trauma patients
You will run advanced computing and database administration
You will be tasked with highly varied, detailed-orientated and technical tasks
Requirements
Minimum AA or a combination of post high school administrative course work preferred
Acute care support position experience in the field of trauma or emergency care preferred
Two (2) State Trauma Registrar courses must be taken within 90 days or no more than 12 months prior to being placed in the position

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $23.91 - $34.40 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
