Job Description:

Overwatch Construction Management, a leading federal and commercial construction

management firm, is seeking an experienced Controller to manage our accounting and

financial reporting on a part-time, remote basis. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting

professional with deep knowledge of Deltek Costpoint and the construction industry.

Hourly Rate (1099): $65.00 to $75.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the in-house expert for Deltek Costpoint; ensure data integrity and support

• system users.

• Manage accounts payable/receivable, time and expense, payroll, job costing, and

• general ledger.

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (GAAP compliant).

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections.

• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and other federal contracting requirements.

• Collaborate with leadership and project managers to track budgets and project

• performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.

• Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint software.

• Construction industry accounting experience, including job costing and WIP reporting.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and federal contracting compliance.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Must be located in and authorized to work in the United States.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
