They’re looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join their team and take ownership of revenue accounting, grant billing, accounts receivable, and month-end close activities. What You’ll Be Doing
Manage accounts receivable and revenue-related accounting activities
Review invoices and billing documentation for accuracy and compliance
Prepare grant billings and reimbursement requests
Monitor receivable balances and follow up on outstanding items
Analyze revenue activity and recommend accruals or adjustments as needed
Support month-end close through journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis
Review grant and program margins and investigate significant variances
Partner with program leaders to support budgeting, reporting, and operational decisions
Assist with annual audits, grant reviews, and compliance reporting
Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports for leadership
Help identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen internal controls
What They’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a nonprofit environment
Experience with accounts receivable, revenue recognition, and general ledger accounting
Understanding of grant accounting and funder reporting requirements is a plus
Strong reconciliation, month-end close, and financial analysis skills
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments
Ideal Background
Nonprofit or grant-funded accounting experience
Experience supporting audits and compliance reviews
Knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting principles
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
