CPT-9418 Senior E-commerce Virtual Assistant

REQUIRED SERVICE: e-Commerce VA

REQUESTED EXPERIENCE TIER LEVEL: Senior Level

MIN. HOURS/WEEK: 20 hours

SHIFT TIME ZONE: EST

SHIFT HOURS: preferably 9 AM–1 PM

SHIFT DAYS: Monday to Friday

We are seeking a professional, reliable, and experienced E-commerce Virtual Assistant to support a growing online retail business. This role will begin as part-time, with the potential to transition into a full-time position. The ideal candidate is database-savvy, highly detail-oriented, communicates professionally, has experience with social media and image and video editing apps, and can work partially during Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Responsibilities

• Manage product listings on Shopify or similar platforms (e.g., BigCommerce)

• Handle database entry of detailed product information, including specs and descriptions

• Organize and maintain product/vendor data across multiple spreadsheets and platforms

• Coordinate with vendors to collect product data and images

• Review and forward raw product images to the editing team

• Communicate with third-party vendors (e.g., product image editors in India)

• Perform basic image processing tasks (resizing, cropping, cleanup) using Photoshop or similar software

• Perform basic video processing tasks, using a phone app or Youtube video editor

• Post on social media

• Create and manage product-related email lists and communication workflows

• Provide responsive customer and vendor email support

• Use tools like ChatGPT to help with content refinement or product copy if needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Virtual Assistant in the e-commerce or retail sector

• Strong working knowledge of Shopify and/or other e-commerce CMS platforms

• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets

• Familiarity with basic photo editing tools (Photoshop or equivalent)

• Familiarity with mainstream video editing phone apps

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

• Highly professional demeanor and strong work ethic

• Ability to work partially within EST hours

• Experience working with product image workflows and catalog preparation is a big plus
